FOUNDATION SKILLS FOR PUPPIES AND NEW-TO-YOU DOGS GIVES YOU THE TOOLS TO TEACH YOUR DOG NEW BEHAVIORS AND GIVES YOUR DOG THE SKILLS TO LEARN THESE BEHAVIORS.
WE PROVIDE A FUN, HAPPY ENVIRONMENT THAT PROMOTES LEARNING. THE DOG LEARNS TO OFFER BEHAVIORS FOR A REWARD AND YOU LEARN TO SELECT THOSE BEHAVIORS YOU WANT REPEATED AND IGNORE THOSE YOU DON'T.
WE TEACH NAME RECOGNITION, EYE CONTACT, COME WHEN CALLED, HAND TARGETING, SIT, DOWN, STAY, GO TO A MAT, RELAX IN A CRATE, WALK POLITELY, GREET POLITELY, AND PLAY NICELY WITH OTHERS.
FOUNDATION SKILLS FOR AGILITY PROVIDES A FUN ENVIRONMENT FOR YOUR DOG TO LEARN THE BASICS OF THE SPORT OF AGILITY.
WE USE GAMES TO PROMOTE A SOLID RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR DOG PARTNER, TO ATTAIN A WILLINGNESS TO WORK/PLAY/TRAIN, TO TEACH FOCUS ON BOTH OBSTACLES AND YOU, TO HAVE SELF CONTROL, AND TO LEARN CORRECT OBSTACLE PERFORMANCE. THE EMPHASIS IS ALWAYS ON FUN.

LURE COURSING: OUR SIGHTHOUNDS INTRODUCED US TO THE EXCITING SPORT OF LURE COURSING. THIS SPORT WAS FIRST DEVELOPED FOR SIGHTHOUNDS AS A WAY TO EXERCISE THEIR NATURAL HUNTING ABILITIES. OTHER DOGS HAVE DISCOVERED JUST HOW MUCH FUN IT IS TO CHASE A PLASTIC BAG "BUNNY' AROUND A FIELD. SO WE ARE NOW OFFERING INTRODUCTION TO LURE COURSING FOR ANY DOG WHO WANTS TO TRY.
